Supporting Local Non-Profits
As a way to support our communities we volunteer at events sponsored by local non-profits
Several times a year we participate in coat and backpack drives.
In 2025, we are working on collecting blankets and socks that will be donated to a local substance abuse detox center.
Our goal is to make our community aware of the many programs available to the unhoused and those struggling with substance abuse.
It Takes A Village
Like others in the community we had family struggling with domestic violence, homelessness, substance abuse and being in and out of jail.
For years we searched for ways to help them; then one day I was given the name and phone number of a Back on Track a non-profit that helps those being human trafficked or trying to expunge their criminal records after being incarcerated. That Organization put me in touch with programs that helped our family get the help needed.
